The Galveston County Museum is in the former Galveston County Courthouse in Galveston, Texas. Since the museum is housed inside a county building, its hours are limited to Monday through Friday when the building is open. The museum is open to the public on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, while it opens for private tours on Tuesday and Thursday.
After meeting with the museum's executive director, we decided to do something different to create awareness for the museum. We decided to launch a video series/podcast called Unboxing History. Through a media partnership with i45NOW, the series is also posted on i45NOW, which has a strong following and feeds into VisitGalveston.com web pages. It has also given the museum added exposure for story opportunities.

The goal is to give visitors 24/7 access to the museum, increase awareness, and generate foot traffic and donations to the museum.
Business Edge: Galveston County for the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce
Project Tasks:
-
Manage full production, including pre‑production planning, recording, and editing of the video interview series
-
Produce, schedule, and edit short‑form clips for social media platforms
In addition to my consulting work, I serve as the Marketing & Communications Director for the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce, where I oversee strategic messaging, digital content, and member communications—including producing and editing the Chamber’s Business Edge: Galveston County video series.

Business Edge: Galveston County is a video series showcasing influential business leaders who have long supported the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce. Chamber President & CEO Gina Spagnola leads each interview, focusing on challenges, leadership insights, and their best advice for the business community.
The full interviews are published on the Chamber’s YouTube channel, while short-form clips are created to extend reach and engagement among members and prospective members. Using OpusClip—an AI‑powered video repurposing tool—top‑performing clips are identified and rated based on predicted audience interest. These shorts are shared across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, where they are driving increased engagement. On YouTube, shorts are averaging 1,000 views on a newly launched channel.

The goal is to increase the Chamber's exposure and engagement with our members and prospective members while providing valuable content.
