In June 2019, Christine got a call from a long time media contact who works as a travel writer. This writer, Kathy Straach, said she wanted to know if it was okay for her to pass along Christine's name to Reedy Press. They were looking for a local expert to write a guide book on Galveston.

Christine enlisted her friend, Heidi Lutz, to join her in writing "100 Things to Do in Galveston Before you Die." This duo submitted their final manuscript on Oct. 27, 2019, for a spring release.

This guidebook serves as "bucket list" of ideas for Food and Drink, Music and Entertainment, Sports and Entertainment, Culture and History, and Shopping and Fashion.
